EHK's candy thermometer will help you to make the perfect batch of candy or jam every time, also known as a sugar or jam thermometer. This thermometer also meets the temperature range for deep-frying, it can be used for both functions. Simply clip over the rim of the pan or pot and lower the thermometer tip at least 5cm into the mixture. Keep rod away from sides and bottom of pan. Boiling points of liquid tend to vary at different altitudes about or below sea level. Check thermometer in boiling water, if water above 100oC, add the difference to the recipe temperature.
